Asylum and Immigration Tribunal

A person’s right of appeal against the Home Office’s decision to refuse an application is guaranteed by statute. It is worth noting that the refusal letter from the Home Office stating that you have no right to appeal does not mean in itself that you have no right of appeal against such a decision. Most immigration decisions attract a right of appeal should your application be refused. Most of the appeal cases will be dealt with by the Asylum and Immigration Tribunal. Where appropriate, it is our firm’s policy to make an attempt to resolve your matter directly with the UK Border Agency or British Embassy/High Commission to avoid your case going to appeal.

If the matter proceeds to appeal, we will instruct an experienced immigration barrister on your behalf to represent you at the Tribunal.
