EEA family permits
An EEA family permit is a form of entry clearance for non-EEA nationals to travel with, or join, the EEA nationals in the UK.
If the non-EEA family member travels to the UK with an EEA Family Permit and intends to live in the UK with an EEA national who is exercising Treaty rights, the non-EEA family member should apply for a residence document after arriving in the UK and before the EEA Family Permit expires.
